导师简介 Biography：
刘道然，博士，教授，博士研究生导师，中国香港人，毕业于香港大学医学院获 得博士学位，曾多年在香港大学和美国明尼苏达大学从事科学研究工作。现为汕 头大学医学院细胞生物学与遗传学教研室的 PI。
近年来主持国家自然科学基金及广东省重点基金项目 10 项，发表 SCI 论文 56 篇，获得国家发明专利授权 1 项。入选广东省高等学校“千百十工程”省级培养对 象、广东省“扬帆计划”培养高层次人才。曾任国家重点研发计划“蛋白质机器与 生命过程调控”重点专项答辩评审专家、国家重点研发计划“精准医学研究”重点 专项答辩评审专家。担任 Springer Nature、Wiley 等旗下多个 SCI 期刊的副主编 或编委。
主要研究方向：
1. 毒性金属分子诱导人体细胞毒作用及致癌机制。利用多组学的方法研究重金 属镉对人支气管上皮细胞和肺上皮细胞的细胞毒性和致癌性，识别潜在的生 物标志，并开发能够对抗毒物所产生的细胞毒性效应的药物。
2. 肿瘤表观遗传标志物的发现。哺乳动物组蛋白的翻译后共价修饰在肿瘤转化 中的确切作用，筛选可以作为诊断治疗靶点的表观遗传学标志。
Dr. Andy Tao Yin Lau, Professor, obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. He has been engaged in scientific research at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Minnesota for many years. He is currently the Principal Investigator and PhD supervisor at the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics, Shantou University Medical College.
In recent years, Prof. Lau has presided over 10 National Natural Science Foundation
projects and key fund projects of Guangdong Province, published 56 SCI papers and obtained one National invention patent. He was also selected as the provincial training talent of the "Thousand, Hundred, and Ten" project of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province and the "Yang Fan" project of Guangdong Province. He has served as the review expert of the key special defense of the National key R & D plans "Protein machine and life process regulation" and "Precision medicine research". Other professional activities included serving as Associate editor and editorial board member of multiple SCI Journals in Springer Nature, Wiley, etc.
Main research directions:
1. Toxic metals-induced cytotoxicity and carcinogenic mechanism in humans.
To study the cytotoxicity and carcinogenicity of heavy metal cadmium (Cd) in human bronchial alveolar cells and lung epithelial cells, identify potential biomarkers and develop drugs that can antagonize the Cd’s harmful effects.
2. Discovery of tumor epigenetic markers.
The exact role of post-translational covalent modification of mammalian histones in tumor transformation, screening of epigenetic signature which can be used as epigenetic markers for diagnosis and therapeutic targets.

汕头大学医学院细胞生物学专业由我校细胞生物学与遗传学教研室承担教学工 作。本教研室现有教职工 16 人，其中博士生导师 4 人，硕士生导师 8 人。多名 专任教师先后获得“教育部中国高校科学技术奖”等奖励及荣誉。本教研室构建 了细胞生物学等学科的实验教学平台、肿瘤生物治疗研究平台、环境重金属污染 与健康研究平台、肿瘤耐药新研究平台、表观遗传学研究平台等， 能满足本学科 科学研究、高层次人才培养和本硕博实验教学的需要。
本专业培养了大批优秀的硕士、博士研究生和博士后，在 PNAS、Cancer Research、 Chemosphere 等知名国际期刊发表论文，多名学生获得“研究生国家奖学金”和 “广东省优秀学生”等奖励及荣誉。毕业生升学和就业率高， 目前主要任职于国 内外各高等院校、研究所、医院、生物制药公司等机构及企业。
此外，本专业积极组织学生参加国内外举办的学术会议，选派优秀学生进行国际 交流，并与加拿大阿尔巴塔大学、荷兰格罗宁根大学等国外著名高校开展合作研 究课题并联合培养博士研究生。
The Teaching and Research Section of Cell Biology and Genetics of Shantou University Medical College is responsible for the teaching of cell biology. There are 16 faculty members, including 4 doctoral supervisors and 8 master supervisors. A number of full- time teachers have won awards and honors such as "Science and Technology Award of Chinese Universities of the Ministry of Education". The Teaching and Research Department has constructed experimental teaching platforms of cell biology, environmental heavy metal pollution and health, epigenetics, etc., which can meet the needs of scientific research, high-level personnel training and experimental teaching of this discipline.
The Teaching and Research Section has not only constructed an innovative teaching curriculum system and an experimental curriculum system for the whole process of cultivating students' scientific research ability, but also focused on English teaching, introducing international awareness and standards into the curriculum construction.
In terms of professional achievements, our section has cultivated a large number of excellent masters, doctors and post-doctors, published papers in well-known international journals such as PNAS and Chemosphere and many students have won awards and honors such as "National Scholarship for Graduate Students" and "Outstanding Student of Guangdong Province". At present, graduates mainly work in domestic and foreign institutions of higher learning, research institutes, hospitals, biopharmaceutical companies and other institutions and enterprises.
In addition, the Teaching and Research Section actively organizes students to participate in academic conferences held at home and abroad to deliver speeches and display posters. We have also established long-term cooperative relations with famous foreign universities such as University of Alberta in Canada and University of Groningen in the Netherlands, selecting outstanding students for exchange and training, carrying out cooperative research projects and jointly training doctoral students.

导师简介 Biography：
许彦鸣，博士，教授，博士研究生导师，汕头大学医学院细胞生物学与遗传学教 研室主任，曾在美国明尼苏达大学从事研究工作，从事教学和科研工作 21 年， 是广东省高等学校“千百十工程” 省级培养对象，广东省“扬帆计划”培养高层次 人才。
主持国家自然科学基金、广东省重点科研和平台等各类项目 9 项。作为核心成员 参与多个国家“863 计划”项目、国家 973 项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目的研 究工作。近年来在 Cancer Research 、Clinical Cancer Research 、Gut 等杂志共发表 SCI 论文 59 篇，授权国家发明专利 3 项。还应邀成为多个 SCI 学术期刊的编 委。
主要研究方向为：
1. 天然化合物和抗癌药物抗肿瘤细胞靶点及作用机制；
2. 肿瘤生物治疗新策略；
3. 蛋白质的翻译后修饰在肿瘤发生发展中的作用。
Dr. Yanming Xu, Professor, PhD supervisor, Director of the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics at Shantou University Medical College. Graduated from the Fourth Military Medical University (now known as the AirForce Military Medical University). During the past 21 years, she worked at the Fourth Military Medical University, and later on at the University of Minnesota for postdoctoral research. After returning to China, she was selected as the provincial training talent of the "Thousand, Hundred, and Ten" project of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province and the "Yang Fan" project of Guangdong Province.
In recent years, Prof. Xu has presided over 9 National Natural Science Foundation projects and key fund projects of Guangdong Province. As a core member, she has participated in the National "863 Plan" Project, the National 973 Project, and the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In recent years, 59 SCI papers have been published in Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Gut, etc., and one National invention patent was obtained. Other professional activities included serving as Associate editor and editorial board member of multiple SCI Journals in Springer Nature, Wiley, etc.
The main research directions: 1. Anti-tumor cell targets and mechanism of action of natural compounds and anticancer drugs; 2. New strategies for tumor biotherapy; 3. Role of post-translational modification of protein in tumor development.

导师简介 Biography：
汕头大学医学院/汕头大学医学院第一附属医院特聘教授。2014 年毕业于荷兰鹿 特丹伊拉斯姆斯，获博士学位。2014 年 11 月至 2021 年 08 月在深圳大学医学部 工作，历任讲师、副教授。2021 年 09 月至 2022 年 08 月在深圳技术大学药学院 工作，任药理学教授。2022 年 09 月起在汕头大学医学院工作。
主要研究方向为胆固醇代谢调控分子机制、V-ATPase 在代谢调控中的作用、以 及代谢紊乱性疾病防治药物的开发。主持国家级项目 3 项，其它省、市、厅级等 各类项目 6 项，总经费金额达 700 余万元人民币。在 Circulation Research、Nature
Communications、Organic Letters、Biomaterials、Pharmacological Research、Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine 等一流学术期刊上发表论文 30 余篇，申请并获得国家 发明专利授权 1 项。指导硕士研究生 7 名，博士研究生 7 名。
Xifeng Lu is a distinguished Professor jointly appointed by Shantou University School of Medicine and the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University School of Medicine. Xifeng Lu was awarded a PhD degree in pharmacology by Erasmus University Rotterdam in Jan 2014. After his PhD, Dr. Lu worked as postdoc fellow at Erasmus Medical Center (EMC, Rotterdam) and Academic Medical Center (AMC, Amsterdam) until he joined Shenzhen University. Dr. Lu served as assistant professor and associate professor at Shenzhen University Health Science Center during Nov 2014 and Aug 2021. From Sep 2021, Dr. Lu served as Professor in Pharmacology at Shenzhen Technology University until he joined Shantou University School of Medicine in Sep 2022. The research of Xifeng focused on elucidating the role of Vacuolar H+-ATPase in metabolic control, identification of novel regulators in cholesterol metabolism, and developing drugs or other therapeutic ways to treat metabolic diseases. Xifeng received 3 grants from NSFC and 6 others grants from Guangdong Province or Shenzhen Municipal, which amounted to more than 7 million RMB. Xifeng has authored more than 30 articles in top-class journals such as Circulation Research, Nature Communications, Organic Letters, Biomaterials, Pharmacological Research, and Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine. Till now, Xifeng has supervised/co-supervised 7 master students and 7 PhD students.
