专业介绍 Program Introduction
眼科学是临床医学中研究人体感觉器官之一的视觉器官的正常功能及疾病变化 和治疗的一门学科。汕头大学医学院是全国首批卓越医生教育培养计划试点高校， 拥有直属附属眼科专科医院——汕头大学•香港中文大学联合汕头国际眼科中心。
汕头国际眼科中心是汕头大学医学院眼病临床研究中心、眼科研究所， 汕头大学 眼科学硕士、博士授予点、博士后流动站。目前共有博士生导师 3 人、硕士生导 师 25 人、全英授课老师 11 名，培养博士后 6 人、博士研究生和硕士研究生 321 名。拥有与国际前沿保持一致的仪器设备，开展国内外先进水平手术和诊断治疗 技术；拥有临床培训中心和眼科研究室，满足临床教学和科研需要。
医院集医疗、教学、科研、防盲、培训为一体，历经 20 年的发展， 已成为我国 学科门类齐全、师资力量雄厚、医疗技术精湛、诊疗设备先进、科研实力强大、 国内外知名的眼科中心。在全国三级公立医院绩效考核中，在全国其他专科手术 类 116 家医院中名列第 7，连续三年眼专科医院名列第 3； 中国医院科技量值 （STEM）眼科排名第 16 位，是全国医院首个诺贝尔获得者工作站、国家药物临 床试验机构，承担各级科研项目 266 项（国家级及国际横向合作项目27 项），发 表论文 852 篇，被 SCI 收录论文 379 篇，总影响因子 1685.586。
Ophthalmology is a subject investigating the normal function, disease progression and treatment of the visual organ, which is an important sense organ of human body. Shantou University Medical College is one of the first universities under the Physician Education and Training Program of Excellence in China. It has an affiliated specialized ophthalmic hospital, Joint Shantou International Eye Center (JSIEC) of Shantou University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
JSIEC is the Ophthalmology Clinical Research Center and Ophthalmology Research Institute of Shantou University Medical College, and also the master’s and doctorate conferral unit and the postdoctoral research station of Shantou University. At present, JSIEC owns 3 doctoral supervisors, 25 master supervisors, and 11 English lecturers, and has cultivated 6 post-doctors, 321 doctors and masters. JSIEC has a series of instruments and equipment with international front, and has the ability to carry out diagnosis and treatment project with advanced level at home and abroad. JSIEC also has clinical training center and ophthalmology laboratory to meet the needs of clinical training and scientific research.
JSIEC incorporates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, blindness prevention and training. With the 20-year experience of development, JSIEC has become a well-known ophthalmic center with a complete range of disciplines, strong
faculty, superb medical technology, advanced equipment, and strong scientific research strength. JSIEC ranked the 7th among 116 national hospitals of other specialized surgical category and the 3rd among ophthalmic hospitals for three consecutive years in national tertiary public hospitals assessment. JSIEC was the 16th highest Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics in Chinese hospitals. JSIEC, as a hospital, is the first NobelPrize winning workstation in China and the national drug clinical trial institution. JSIEC has undertaken in 266 scientific research projects, among which, 27 were national or international cooperation projects. JSIEC has published 852 papers, including 379 papers indexed by SCI, with a total impact factor of 1685.586.

导师简介 Biography：
张铭志，主任医师，博士生导师，汕头大学·香港中文大学联合汕头国际眼科中心 常务副院长。
国内知名眼科专家，卫健委白内障领域专家库核心成员，参加国家多项眼科指南、 共识及教材撰写，国家自然科学基金评审专家，2005 年人才引进汕头国际眼科 中心，带领团队开展新技术 200 余项，技术水平与国际同步；在国际上率先建立 合并有白内障青光眼的手术治疗模型并纳入亚太地区临床诊疗指南。承担国家自 然科学基金及国际联合项目 7 项、省市级项目 11 项。在国内外知名期刊发表论 文 238 篇，其中 SCI 论文 132 篇，累积影响因子 489.018。
除临床和科研外，在医院管理方面有丰富经验，探索汕港联合管理模式，以人无 我有、人强我精、人有我特、人陈我新的差异化管理理念， 使汕头国际眼科中心 在医、教、研、培训、防盲高速发展， 2019 年度全国三级公立医院绩效考核中， 位列全国 112 家其他专科手术类医院全国第 6 名，眼专科医院全国第 3 名，获得 专科医院最高等级 A；2020 年度中国医院科技量值眼科排名第 15 位。倡导建立 的以“授人以渔”为理念的新型三级精准防盲扶持体系和基层医师规范化培训模 式，防盲足迹遍及全国 22 省、1 个特别行政区、5 个自治区、4 个直辖市，共 123 个地区，白内障手术量累计达到 25 万例，居全国首位。

Mingzhi Zhang, professor, senior doctor, doctoral supervisor. Executive vice President of Joint Shantou International Eye Center (JSIEC) of Shantou University and the Chinese University of HongKong.
Zhang is a well-known ophthalmologist in China, core member of the Cataract Expert Database of the National Health Commission, evaluation expert of national Natural Science Foundation. She has participated in the writing of a number of national ophthalmology guidelines, consensus and textbooks. Since introduced into JSIEC in 2005, she has led the team to carryout more than 200 new technologies, and developed the technology synchronized with international level.
She was one of the first ophthalmologists in the world to establish a surgical treatment model for the comorbidity of cataract and glaucoma, which has been included in the clinical guideline in the Asia-Pacific region. She has undertaken 7 national Natural Science Foundation projects and international joint projects, and 11 provincial and
municipal projects. She has published 238 papers in well-known journals at home and abroad, including 132 in SCI journals, with a cumulative impact factor of 489.018. In addition to clinical practice and scientific research, she has extensive experience in hospital administration. She devoted herself to exploring the joint management mode of Shantou and Hong Kong, with the novel management concept of differentiation, which facilitated development of JSIEC in the aspect of medical practice, teaching and training, scientific research, and blindness prevention. In 2019, JSIEC ranked the 3rd among ophthalmic hospitals in national tertiary public hospitals assessment. In 2020, JSIEC was the 15th highest Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics in Chinese hospitals. She advocates the establishment of novel three-level accurate support system for blindness prevention, with the concept of "teaching one to fish" and a standardized training model for grassroots doctors. Her work in blindness prevention has covered 123 regions in 22 provinces, 1 special administrative region, 5 autonomous regions, and
4 municipalities, with a total of 250,000 cataract operations, ranking top in China.

伍子建，研究员，2010 年博士毕业于香港中文大学眼科及视觉科学学系，2012 年于美国迈阿密退伍军人医疗中心进行博士后研究工作，2013–2018 年于香港中 文大学担任助理教授，2018 年加入汕头大学医学院眼科中心担任研究员及眼科 研究室主任，一直从事基因学、中草药、干细胞及神经修复方向的研究工作， 在 干细胞培养、动物实验、分子生物学等方面积累了丰富的经验。在眼科基因学、 分子生物学、神经修复及干细胞相关领域发表 3 部著作、SCI 论文 104 篇，包括 PNAS 、Nature Communications 、Molecular Therapy - Nucleic Acids 、Stem Cells、 Therapeutic Advances in Neurological Disorders 和 Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity 等，高被引论文 1 篇，总引用数超过 2200 次，H 指数 28。
伍教授获得亚太眼科学会成就奖、ICLAS-CALAS 国际青年奖、广东省实验动物 管理行业优秀团队奖等奖项。伍教授作为项目负责人承担香港食物及卫生局医疗 卫生研究基金资助项目、广东省基础与应用基础研究基金区域联合基金青年基金 项目、广东省科技创新战略专项资金项目、广东省中医药建设专项资金面上项目 和汕头市医疗卫生科技计划财政资金支持项目等基金资助项目。伍教授现担任香 港中文大学眼科及视觉科学学系兼任副教授、成都中医药大学眼科学院客座教授、 中国老年医学学会眼科分会转化医学学组委员、中医药产教融合促进委员会眼科 专业委员会委员、广东省医疗行业协会眼科管理分会委员和汕头大学生物医学工 程系专业导师。伍教授于 2019–2021 年承担国家及广东省继续医学教育项目「基 因学和干细胞在眼科学的临床应用与发展」。
Prof. Tsz Kin Ng obtained his Ph.D. degree in Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010, followed by the post-doctoral training at the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the United States in 2012. Prof. Ng was appointed as the Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2013. He joined the Joint Shantou International Eye Center of Shantou University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong as Research Professor since 2018. Prof. Ng's research focuses on ocular genetics, herbal medicine, stem cells and optic nerve regeneration, and he has written 3 book chapters and published 104 articles in indexed peer-reviewed journals, including PNAS, Nature Communication, Molecular Therapy - Nucleic Acids, Stem Cells, Therapeutic Advances in Neurological Disorders and Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, with the H factor of 28.
Prof. Ng received 17 awards, including the APAO Achievement Award and the ICLAS- CALAS Scholarship Award for Young Investigators in Laboratory Animal Science. Prof. Ng has served as the principal investigator for 7 grants, including the Health and Medical Research Fund in Hong Kong and the Joint Regional Basic Science and Applied Basic Science Research Fund of Guangdong Province. Prof. Ng is now also served as the Adjunct Associate Professor for the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Visiting Professor for the School of Ophthalmology of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Committee Members for the Chinese Geriatrics Society and the Industry-Education Integration Promotion Society of Chinese Traditional Medicine. Prof. Ng has organized the National and Guangdong Province Continuous Medical Education programs on ocular genetics and stem cells from 2019 to 2021.

肖小强，博士（中山大学，生物化学与分子生物学）， 汕头大学·香港中文大学联 合汕头国际眼科中心，副研究员，硕士生导师，眼科研究室副主任。
研究领域：
1) 阐明 ROBO4 基因在眼球发育及相关疾病中的功能，作用的分子机制；
2) 眼科遗传疾病致病基因筛选及致病机理分析；
3) 环状 RNA 发生的分子机理，环状 RNA 功能及在眼科疾病方面治疗应用研究；
成果：发表 SCI 论文多篇包括 Biomaterials, IOVS, Genetic of Medicine and Int J Biol Sci 等，获得国家发明专利两项，主持国家，省，市级科研项目各一项。
Xiaoqiang Xiao, PhD (SunYat-sen University，Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)， Associated Professor in The Joint Shantou International Eye Center(JSIEC) of Shantou University and The Chinese University of Hongkong, Deputy director of laboratory.

1) Investigating the impacts and mechanisms of ROBO4 to the development and pathogenesis of ocular tissues
2) Screening of disease-causing mutations and confirmation of their roles in the pathogenesis of ocular diseases

Achievements:
During the past several years, Dr Xiao has been applying various experimental methods, such as cellular and biochemical techniques, to explore different biological activities at molecular and cellular level; Dr Xiao’s work has been published in many journals including Biomaterials, IOVS, Genetic of Medicine and IntJ Biol Sci. Dr Xiao has been funded by national and provincial research grants as principle investigator.

刘庆平，教授，毕业于日本冈山大学细胞工学，医学博士，糖脂代谢研究重点实 验室主任，眼科研究所副所长。主要从事细胞分子生物学、基因工程、细胞工程 等领域科研工作，承担国家自然科学基金 5 项，合作日本文部省和厚生省课题 3 项，在脂质代谢紊乱疾病的细胞信号传导机制、药物靶点病原蛋白发现、基因工 程重组蛋白、小分子药物研究领域发表中外科研论文 130 余篇，主编专著 2 部， 授权发明专利 6 项。
Qingping Liu, MD, Ph.D., professor of Shantou International Ophthalmic Center, graduated from Okayama University, Japan. Director of Key Laboratory of Glycolipid Metabolism. Vice Director of Ophthalmology Research Institute of Shantou University Medical College. Mainly engaged in cell and molecular biology, gene engineering, cell engineering, and other fields of scientific research. Undertook 5 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and cooperated in 3 projects of Japanese Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health and Welfare. She has published more than 130 research papers in China and internationally, edited 2 monographs, and authorized 6 in the field of cell signal transduction mechanism of lipid metabolism disorders, drug target pathogenic protein discovery, gene engineering recombinant protein, small molecule drug research.

导师简介 Biography：
邱坤良，主任医师，现任汕头大学医学院眼病临床医学研究中心副主任、汕头大 学 ·香港中文大学联合国际眼科中心特殊检查科主任。
毕业于荷兰格罗宁根大学，获博士学位。从事眼科临床工作十余年， 曾前往香港 中文大学眼科学及视觉科学学系和荷兰格罗宁根大学医学中心访问学习，目前主 攻青光眼、白内障专业方向的诊疗及研究工作。近年来获中华医学科技奖三等奖、 中国医药教育协会科技创新奖二等奖各 1 项，主持和参与国家级、省部级课题计 划 6 项，在国内外著名期刊上发表 SCI 收录学术论文 30 余篇。获国家发明专利 授权 5 件，美国发明专利授权 1 件，获汕头市创新创业领军人才称号。
兼任广东省医学会眼科分会委员、广东省眼健康协会影像专业委员会副主任委员、 广东省医疗行业协会眼科分会委员、广东省医疗器械管理学会医疗器械临床试验 专业委员会委员、广东省药学会药物临床试验专业委员会委员、汕头市医学会眼 科分会常委。
Dr Qiu is a consultant at Joint Shantou International Eye Center of Shantou University and the Chinese University of HongKong. He is a clinician-scientist with research focus on ocular imaging, especially the imaging of myopia and glaucoma. Dr. Qiu has been working in the field of ocular imaging for more than 15 years in Netherlands and China, mainly on development and application of image analysis techniques. As a principal investigator, he has conducted a series of research projects on ocular imaging. Dr Qiu has authored more than 30 research papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the reviewer of the international journals such as the British Journal of Ophthalmology and Acta Ophthalmologica. Dr Qiu is the vice committee director of the Gerontological Society of China (ophthalmic branch) and the member of several ophthalmic societies such as the ARVO and Chinese Ophthalmological Society.
