专业介绍 Program Introduction
遗传学是生物医学研究的跨学科领域,跨越了传统的学科界限和许多不同的技术, 如分子遗传学、细胞生物学、发育生物学和生物信息学等。我们有生殖研究中心 和干细胞研究中心,包括 6 名教授和 4 名科研人员,并专注于人类胚胎发育以及 基于干细胞技术的细胞治疗。目前, 我们承担多项国家科学研究项目和广东省科 学研究项目。
Genetics is a cross-disciplinary area of biomedical research that spans traditional departmental boundaries and many different technologies, such as molecular genetics, cell biology, developmental biology, and bioinformatics, etc. We have developed reproductive research center and stem cell research center including 6 professors and 4 research staffs. We are focus on the human embryonic development and cell therapy based on the stem cell technologies. Currently, we are carrying out the national scientific projects and Guangdong province scientific projects.

导师简介 Biography:
周小玲教授,汕头大学医学院,遗传学副教授。主要研究领域是应用人干细胞来 源的肝细胞构建肝脏疾病模型。她曾在肝源细胞和非肝源细胞中研究了HBV 与 宿主之间的相互作用。现阶段,她主要集中在 HBV 对人胚胎干细胞的影响和干 细胞来源的肝细胞在肝再生中的应用。
Prof. Xiaoling Zhou, Associate Professor of Genetics, Shantou University Medical College. Prof. Zhou’s research focuses on modeling liver biology using pluripotent stem cells (hESCs and hiPSCs) derived hepatocytes and applying this novel model to study liver diseases. She previously studied HBV pathology in hepatic and non-hepatic cells
and investigated the virus-host interaction in hepatic and non-hepatic cells and setting up new HBV/HCV cell models. Currently, she studies the influence of HBV on human embryonic stem cells and stem cell-derived hepatocytes in liver regeneration.

导师简介 Biography:
孙平楠教授, 汕头大学医学院,遗传学教授,干细胞研究中心主任;主要研究领 域是干细胞和细胞治疗。孙教授曾在耶鲁大学干细胞中心、爱丁堡大学再生医学 中心访学。他和国际同行合作成功应用干细胞来源的肝细胞构建了 HCV 感染模 型。并应用干细胞技术构建了 HBV/HCV 研究模型对肝细胞和非肝源细胞中的病 毒和宿主相互作用进行了研究。现阶段, 他主要关注间充质干细胞、细胞治疗、 干细胞来源的肝细胞的分化以及应用干细胞技术治疗肝脏相关疾病。
Prof. Pingnan Sun, Professor of Medical Genetics, Director of Stem Cell Research Center, Shantou University Medical College. Prof. Pingnan Sun’s research focuses on stem cell and cell therapy. He once worked in Yale Stem Cell Center, University of
Edinburgh, MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine as a visiting scholar. Previously, he cooperated with the international colleagues and successfully modeled HCV infection using stem cell-derived hepatocytes. He investigated the virus-host interaction in hepatic and non-hepatic cells and setting up new HBV/HCV cell model by stem cell technology. Currently, he focuses on mesenchymal stem cell and cell therapy besides generating robust human stem cell-deriver hepatocytes. He is interested in treatment of liver diseases using stem cell technology.
